REBUILDING

Written and directed by Max Walker-Silverman , ‘Rebuilding‘ is a deeply moving, contemporary neo-Western drama that explores the resilience of the human spirit. The film stars Josh O’Connor (The Crown, The Durrells) as Dusty, a reserved, soft-spoken Colorado cowboy whose ancestral ranch is entirely destroyed by a catastrophic wildfire. Left with almost nothing, he is forced to move into a close-knit, government-run trailer community populated by fellow survivors. Amid the shared grief of the camp, Dusty begins the quiet, painstaking process of piecing his life back together. He slowly starts to reconnect with his ex-wife Ruby (Meghann Fahy) and their young daughter Callie-Rose (Lily LaTorre). Framed by the sweeping, majestic vistas of southern Colorado, Walker-Silverman crafts a tender and ruminative portrait of recovery, family bonds, and newfound community.
