About Us
We are a volunteer-run Community Cinema, in the village of Lamberhurst in Kent. We show our films monthly in the village War Memorial Hall. We screen to an audience drawn from the village and surrounding areas – although we welcome everyone! Any surplus the Cinema makes is passed to the War Memorial Hall to assist with ongoing maintenance and improvements.
Our aim is to show a diverse range of films and filmed events (e.g. theatre), particularly ones you might not have had the chance to see at local commercial cinemas but which are nevertheless, worth taking a look at.
We also provide the opportunity to watch films, enjoy a drink and a chat with friends before and after the film, at an easy-to-access location.
We have created this site to provide information about ourselves, the films we are showing and to provide a platform to purchase tickets.
